Sometimes all you can do is have faith. Just trust that all things work out for those who are called according to his purpose. You can feel it in your heart and soul. You know there is some reason why you are going through what your going through. It’s a lesson and a blessing at the same time. Nothing is entirely in your hands. You may ask why. You may never know why. You just have to put your complete trust in something or someone you have never seen. You can have faith in people or things, but ultimately there is a faith in a higher power.

To me that someone or something is Jesus. I just know Jesus loves me and is there for me. That’s why I pray and give it to him. I may complain and don’t always focus on the positive. I bet that’s the lesson. He’s teaching me to be grateful, trust, and patience.

I told my mom since I was a little girl I knew Jesus loved me. I actually told her when I was about 3 that he would visit with me at bedtime. I would prance around the house and say things like “God sad people naughty” or ” Jesus is my friend.” I feel that way more than ever. I actually sit, relax, listen to calm classical music, pray, and rest in him. Especially when I’m stressed or overwhelmed .

I love this explanation about faith from a children’s song .

“Faith is knowing the sun will rise, lighting each new day.Faith is knowing the Lord will hear my prayers each time I pray.Faith is like a little seed:If planted it will grow.Faith is a swelling within my heart. When I do right, I know.

So you just gotta have Faith!

My faith is in our Heavenly Father and His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ. Although we talk of having faith in people, in principles, or in things, real faith focuses on eternal life through knowing “the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom He has sent.

To have faith in Jesus is to reject all other ways of salvation. We cannot trust in Jesus and anything else. We trust in Jesus alone. “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Salvation is exclusive. Jesus is the only way (John 14:6).

Are you ready to place your faith in Jesus? Do you trust Him to save you? There is no special prayer you must pray. However, you can respond right now with a prayer similar to this:

“Dear God, I realize I am a sinner and could never reach heaven by my own good deeds. Right now I place my faith in Jesus Christ as God’s Son who died and rose again to give me eternal life. I trust in Jesus alone. Please forgive me of my sins and help me to live for you. Thank you for accepting me and giving me eternal life.”
