First Monday in Florida.

Living by the ocean has always been in my heart since I was a little girl. My grandma lived along the Gulf in Florida. I loved her and her home. I have been on vacation and when by the ocean I feel at peace.  2 years ago during a session with my life coach I was asked to do a meditation exercise and I saw my life clearly by the ocean serving and helping people. I wrote more about it in the book “Don’t Be Invisible Be fabulous In Business And Life” I highly encourage you to read my chapter and the entire amazing book. I was working as an inspirational leader and success coach. A year later here we are in Clearwater Florida. I know I’m on the right path.

My husband and I made the decision together to focus on our family and the new life we will be starting together. God first, family second,  business last.

We made the drive from Hudson WI last Thursday July 28th to Clearwater Florida in 3 days. Our entire home is currently in a POD. We are officially homeless. We are putting our entire trust in God.

The feeling I got when we left the driveway of our townhome on Brighton Path was excited, nervous, and relieved all at the same time. Like the famous Jim Rohn quote “Your life doesn’t get better by chance it gets better by change”! We made the change to seek a different life. My husband grew up in North Carolina and missed the ocean and it was in both our hearts. We prayed together about it and planned it out. Here we are in Florida. We are so excited and thankful to have had the opportunity. Both of our careers are totally transferable. Jesse as a carpenter and myself having the ability to work from anywhere with my Legalshield business and networking.

This is the first time I have ever moved away from everything I know. I had moved after highschool to WI but it was a short driving distance to the cities I grew up in. Completely new area, homeless until we find a place, and while being 8 in ahalf months pregnant. My life never has a dull moment. I like it because I will never have to say I wish I had or what if we did. I love challenges and changes. Life is to short to not follow your heart so let me be an inspiration to you and make a decision. Go and do something you have always dreamed of!!!!

I am putting my complete trust in God that he will open doors and opportunities for my husband and I. Next is to find a place to rent, get our home put together before baby, and find a church. This is such a beautiful place. I am excited to network and get to know the people and the community.

I know all things are possible with the right mindset and above all God. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me ” Phillipians 4:13
This picture is the view from this morning. God is good all the time.

You life story has a purpose.

Happy Monday and remember God loves you no matter what. Your past doesn’t define you. God does. Your story is for a reason. To encourage and inspire other’s.

I was on a path of self destruction.  Alcoholism, drug use, major depression, was focused on my selfish desires, success, and with a failed marriage. God was there through it all. It took time to realize my life could be totally different and God loves me no matter what. I was angry at God for a long time. I then finally decided to hand my past to him and let him control my life after a easter sermon. I listened to a story of a couple who were just like me. Best decision I have ever made. I’m still a work in progress. Never will I be perfect but I have a heart to serve God instead of money and addiction or my self. Thank you God for your forgiveness and everlasting love. Please help anyone else who might be struggling and lost. Please help them get inspired by my story and your grace.  Thank you God for loving me no matter what.

Life can be a rollercoaster!

Tips from my presentation yesterday! Your past doesn’t define you!! Everything happens for a reason.  Trust God! Dream BIG, have FAITH, and BELIEVE.

Life can be a rollercoaster, especially when your in business for yourself.  Make sure to surround yourself with uplifting and positive people. The enemy wants to fill your mind with self doubt and negativity. To get inspired pray, read or listen to scripture, and fill your mind with motivational material every day. Make sure to ask someone what your good at or why they enjoy knowing you when you are down and post it in your home or keep in your phone.

Vision boards work great for all areas of your

home. I have 3. One in my bedroom, one in my office, and one in my living room for all parts of my life.
Journal and set goals. Eat and live healthy. Treat others with respect and serve not sell. Above all pray and have a relationship with Jesus Christ. He created you for a purpose. Remember he is coming back someday.  What are you living for?

True love

Love is what keeps a marriage together; not the synthetic kind of love that the world offers and sings about.  I’m talking about agape love, true love.  The Greek word “agape” describes a love that never fails: a love that cares not for it’s own, but others; a love that endures, for better, for worse; a love that causes our heart to surpass our emotions; a love that causes a man to deal with his wife according to knowledge and not emotional bitterness and hate; a love that causes a wife to obey her husband.  We need to love one another and serve each other. True love.

Happy 4th Of July

Happy 4th of July!! To those who have gone before us. To those who protect and serve our nation today.  And most importantly, to our Savior, who paid the ultimate price, so that we can live free. Forever. Freedom is a precious gift. Thank God for it today.

According to the late Ronald W. Reagan, the 40th President of the United States, “Without God there is no virtue because there is no prompting of the conscience….without God there is a coarsening of the society; without God democracy will not and cannot long endure….If we ever forget that we are one Nation Under God, then we will be a Nation gone under.”

Four Weeks Away!!!

I can’t believe it. We are 4 weeks away from taking all our stuff and starting our new adventure living in Florida. My husband and I are excited. We both even before we met said we wanted to live there! It’s on this year’s vision board. Yeah I’m not going to lie I’m a little nervous but life’s to short to not create the life you want and to explore. I mean come on the beach!! No snow or bitter cold. Some people say what about the gators or the bugs. Oh it’s too hot! What about the culture, the palms trees, and all the new wonderful people we get to meet. What about never having to say I wish I would have. Nothings perfect, but to say we moved to Florida priceless. We are not a tree we can always move back.
We have a window of opportunity so we are going for it. My businesses allow me to work from anywhere. The sky is the limit. My hubby can find work in construction as a journeyman anywhere as well. We hate it we move somewhere else. Maybe even the Carolinas where Jesse grew up. Is there somewhere you want to go and live? What’s stopping you from trying it? Remember change is good. You can have the life you want. Believe it you can achieve it. We prayed and always

give it to God because ultimately it will happen if he wants us to go down that path. Life is grand so follow your heart and do it!

What are you putting your trust in?

Yesterday was a great church service.
We prayed over all the Men to focus on serving God and being examples of leaders in their families and in everything they do to exemplify the love of Christ.

I left there feeling comforted and loved in a time of chaos and turmoil within our family and all the new things happening in our lives.

The message overall was to turn away from putting your trust in anything created and put your whole trust in God. It’s not about what you do but how you behave. It’s about what and who you worship. If you put your trust in money, beauty, success, your family, your self, addictions, power, or anything other than God you will never feel fulfilled. You can trust God!! Turn to something that will fulfill you and don’t try to do everything alone. I need to focus on what God wants for my life and leave it to him.

In the midst of a chaotic and fleeting world find your security in the living God who protects from turmoil and delusion. The enemy wants you to suffer and feel unfulfilled. Don’t put your trust in anything else but Jesus.

Business woman to housewife

Last night my husband made a comment about me being a stay at home mom and cooking. I hate cooking and am not good at it unless it’s easy like a crock pot or warming something up. The real truth is I took it the wrong way because I feel less then and like I am a slave if am expected to cook and clean. I even said I will never just be a little housewife. I was angry and felt belittled when all he was doing was saying he likes when I cook healthy and wish I did it more. I was angry at first and almost slept on the couch. I then fell upon this website  http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/Family/Marriage/rebellious_wives.htm
and it spoke truth to me. God convicted my heart. It’s a really good read! It made me think, pray, ask for forgiveness, and apologize to my husband. I’m not perfect but I want to follow God, love my husband, and soon to be family. It doesn’t mean you need to be a fabulous cook it’s about your heart and what you put first!!! Thank you Lord for helping me see why it’s important and how to serve. I ended up sleeping in our bed and waking up to my husband praying over me before work and kisses.
